Bill Lasiter
Grandmaster Bill Lasiter is dedicated to teaching men, women, and children of all ages. His self defense techniques enable them to protect themselves in any situation. He has been studying and teaching the art of KFSS for over 50 years. There is no other living person who has given more to the pursuit of learning and teaching this art than Bill. Bill is a living, breathing encyclopedia of KFSS. Grandmaster Jimmy H. Woo brought KFSS to the United States in the mid-1930's. Kung Fu is the English term referring to the many Chinese martial arts, practiced in various forms throughout china, since before the Christian era. Grandmaster Bill Lasiter's School of Self Defense has built its foundation on these principles. It is not a sport but combines many fighting techniques that can be changed instantly to suit the situation and therefore do not follow any set patterns. Grandmaster Lasiter is dedicated to teaching men, women, and children these techniques to enable them to protect themselves if a situation arises which requires self defense.
Since our Grandmaster retired, classes with Bill Lasiter are usually once a month. Check our events page for his next appearance!

Jarred Arbuckle
Jarred Arbuckle, started his martial arts training at the age of 13 in 2011 Jarrad received his 5th Degree Black Belt from Grandmaster Bill Lasiter. He is an extremely dedicated & motivated martial artist. Jarred is also trained in Filipino Martial Arts, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Ground Fighting, and Weapons. Jarrad is a full time instructor and is continually searching for new methods to deliver the highest standard of training to the school of self-defense. In 2010 Jarrad also started training in Close Quarters Combat (CQC) as well as Knife Defense and long Range Knife fighting.

Craig Radcliff
Craig Radcliff has been with Grand Master Bill Lasiter since 2000. Master Craig Radcliff has earned the rank MASTER in Kung Fu San Soo in 2013. With 14 years of studying under Grandmaster Bill Lasiter, Master Craig is the main instructor for the children's and women's classes. Craig's wife, two daughters , two nephews and his niece attend the school. Craig is very passionate about teaching younger people and women how to defend themselves against aggressive people because, as he always says..."just because a person is bigger or stronger they don't have the right to push others around".

Luvia Radcliff
(Kung Fu Girl)
Luvia has been in the school for over 7 years. Luvia is an instructor in the children's and women's classes. Currently holding a black belt of the third degree, Luvia spent her first two and a half years studying Kung Fu under the tutelage of Angie Moynihan. Luvia has taught with Master Craig in the children's class since her oldest daughter was five years old. Luvia has the unique experience that only a woman can obtain, since all of her training has been against bigger and stronger men. This experience has made Luvia a natural instructor for women and children.
Luvia is also our Head Zumba Instructor!!

Jaime Oliva
Jaime Oliva has been a student at our school since 2013. Jaime is currently 16 years old and currently a junior at Los Osos High School. Jaime has reached the rank of Brown Belt during the summer of 2014. She has been teaching Bully Busters since August of 2014. She enjoys assisting Master Craig Radcliff in instructing the Bully Busters classes. Seeing them smile and laugh while they learn motivates her to work as hard as she does. She has gotten close with a few of the students since she has been an assistant instructor at this school. Many of the children have grown to respect her as a friend and a role model.
